The University of Oxford Psoriasis Study Looking for United Kingdom Volunteers

The University of Oxford is seeking 2000 volunteers with psoriasis to participate in a groundbreaking study investigating the potential connection between the skin condition and the development of arthritis. Led by Professor Laura Coates in collaboration with a team at University College Dublin, the study aims to identify factors contributing to the development of PsA, potentially paving the way for prevention strategies through drug treatments or lifestyle interventions.

Currently, the study is only open in the United Kingdom but is planned to open in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Portugal, Sweden, and Ireland.  Ireland should open in September, while the remaining countries should open by the year’s end.

If you wish to participate in the research, find out more and apply at the HPOS study website.
