Advancing Knowledge. Improving Care.

About the International Psoriasis Council

At the International Psoriasis Council (IPC), we’re a passionate community of researchers and physician experts who share a common goal: improving the health and well-being of people with psoriasis worldwide. We understand the challenges people with psoriasis face and are committed to making a difference.

Our focus is educating health care professionals in psoriasis care management, which aligns with the World Health Organization’s call for improved physician training. We offer clinicians a range of free resources, tools, and information, including live education sessions, webinars, and on-demand videos featuring IPC Board Members and Councilors, renowned opinion leaders in psoriasis.

We are also highly committed to enhancing patient outcomes worldwide by prioritizing research efforts. Our focus is on strengthening the capacity of researchers, promoting collaboration through international partnerships, stakeholder involvement, and evidence-based research, and offering innovative programs and events that support the growth and development of early-career researchers. Together, we can achieve our ultimate goal of improving health care outcomes for all.

IPC was established in 2004 as a United States-based nonprofit organization led by a Board of Directors and supported by a dedicated staff. Our vision is to create a world free of the burden of psoriasis, where people with psoriasis worldwide have access to the best available care and are empowered to lead healthy, fulfilling lives. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of people with psoriasis and associated diseases worldwide through education, research, and advocacy. We’re excited about the future and look forward to making a positive impact.
