Lodging
IPC will cover accommodations for a maximum of three nights (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).  These nights will be charged to the IPC account.  If you select lodging for Saturday, you are expected to participate in the entire Saturday program.

If you plan to stay beyond the specified dates or arrive earlier, you will pay the standard rate of $199 per night plus a $35 per night resort fee and taxes/fees. Upon check-in, a credit card will be required to cover additional nights, guests, and incidentals during your stay.

Air Travel
You are responsible for making your own flight arrangements. It is recommended to fly into Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), located just 10–15 minutes from central San Juan. SJU is the busiest airport in the Caribbean and is served by most major United States airlines, including American Airlines, Delta, United, JetBlue, Southwest, and Spirit.

International carriers such as Air Canada and Copa Airlines also operate flights into SJU. Additionally, there are direct flights from select European cities, including Madrid (Iberia) and Frankfurt (Condor, seasonal).

We recommend booking early to secure the best fares and availability.

Ground Transportation
Taxis are readily available at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), offering flat-rate fares to various zones in San Juan. As of January 2025, the fixed taxi fare from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) to Condado is $17. Additional fees may apply: $1 per piece of luggage; $2 for groups over five passengers; $1 late-night charge (typically after 22:00); $3 airport fee.

Alternatively, Uber operates at SJU, with fares to Condado ranging from $11 to $16 for standard rides, depending on demand and traffic.

Meals
IPC will provide lunch and breaks during the meeting. Breakfast is available on the hotel’s ground floor in Ohrno from 06:00 to 11:00 for an additional fee. We will host a reception and dinner on Friday evening. For other meals, there are several restaurantsnear the hotel and in Old San Juan to explore.

Friday Reception and Dinner
Guests are welcome for the Friday evening reception and dinner. Please provide the guest’s name on the registration form.

Travel Stipend
IPC reimburses up to $650 for flights under 5 hours and up to $1,875 for flights over 5 hours. Travelers from lower and lower-middle-income countries (per the World Bank) with travel times over 12 hours may request up to $2,500.

Stipends can be used for airfare, ground transport, and meals, but may not cover all expenses. Flight change fees, checked bags, travel insurance, and in-flight incidentals are not reimbursable. Receipts are required for reimbursement.

Reimbursement
Reimbursement forms will be sent after the meeting. To request reimbursement, individuals must submit an invoice and copies of all receipts. For international payments, ACH, check, or wire transfer will be made.
