About the IPC Think Tank Meeting

The IPC Think Tank Meeting is an annual event that brings together IPC’s Board Members, Councilors, Jr. Councilors, Fellows, Corporate Members, and Partner Organizations for focused discussions on the most critical issues in psoriasis research and care. This invitation-only event fosters collaboration across regions and disciplines, helping shape IPC’s initiatives and strengthen its impact on the global psoriasis community.

About the Venue

Nestled in the vibrant Condado neighborhood just a short stroll from the cobbled streets and colorful façades of Old San Juan, the Hilton Garden Inn San Juan Condado will be our home base for IPC’s 2025 Think Tank Meeting. You’ll enjoy spacious guest rooms with garden or city views, an ocean-view rooftop pool, on-site dining at the Garden Grille & Bar, and a 24-hour fitness center. The hotel is connected via a covered walkway to its sister property, Embassy Suites by Hilton San Juan, where you can access sandy beachfront and additional resort amenities.

Scientific Symposium: Advancing Integrated Care: Psoriasis, Metabolic Health, and Future Therapeutics

Invited Guests Travel Information

Lodging 
Lodging must be booked through the IPC Think Tank Registration Form. IPC has arranged a nightly rate of $199 at the Hilton Garden Inn San Juan Condado, not including the $35 resort fee and taxes/fees. 

The deadline to make your reservation is October 27, 2025. Your reservation will be made as part of the IPC room block and cannot be canceled after this date. If you do not cancel your reservation before this date, IPC will bill you for any unused room charges incurred. To cancel or make any changes to your room reservations, please contact Maxi.Ryman@psoriasiscouncil.org 

Air Travel  
You are responsible for making your own flight arrangements. It is recommended to fly into Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), located just 10–15 minutes from central San Juan. SJU is the busiest airport in the Caribbean and is served by most major United States airlines, including American Airlines, Delta, United, JetBlue, Southwest, and Spirit. 

International carriers such as Air Canada and Copa Airlines also operate flights into SJU. Additionally, there are direct flights from select European cities, including Madrid (Iberia) and Frankfurt (Condor, seasonal). 

We recommend booking early to secure the best fares and availability. 

Ground Transportation 
Taxis are readily available at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), offering flat-rate fares to various zones in San Juan. As of January 2025, the fixed taxi fare from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) to Condado is $17. Additional fees may apply: $1 per piece of luggage; $2 for groups over five passengers; $1 late-night charge (typically after 22:00); $3 airport fee. 

Alternatively, Uber operates at SJU, with fares to Condado ranging from $11 to $16 for standard rides, depending on demand and traffic.  

Meals 
IPC will provide lunch and breaks during the meeting. Breakfast is available on the hotel’s ground floor in Ohrno from 06:00 to 11:00 for an additional fee. We will host a reception and dinner on Friday evening. For other meals, there are several restaurantsnear the hotel and in Old San Juan to explore.

CANCELLATIONS 
If your travel plans change and you cannot attend the meeting, please notify us by October 31, 2025. If you do not inform IPC by this date, you may be charged for any unused hotel room charges it may incur. In this IPC commentary, Matias Maskin examines evidence from the BADBIR registry demonstrating that first-line biologic therapy in moderate to severe psoriasis leads to faster skin clearance, improved quality of life, and a lower risk of comorbidities.
