IPC International Fellowship Program

FOSTERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF PSORIASIS LEADERS

IPC’s International Fellowship program offers early-career dermatologists and researchers interested in psoriasis the opportunity to learn directly from our global network of experts, demonstrating our commitment to developing the next generation of leaders in the field.

IPC offers two fellowship tracks: Clinical and Research. Both are 12-month programs that include virtual mentoring, skills development classes, and co-mentoring groups based on special interest topics. Clinical fellows will participate in up to four weeks of on-site clinical experience, while research fellows will spend up to twelve weeks on-site with a research mentor. Applicants may apply to one or both tracks through a single application.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
  • Connect early-career dermatologists and researchers with key opinion leaders in the field of psoriasis, fostering participation in global projects and dialogue that advance both clinical care and scientific discovery.
  • Support the academic, clinical, and research development of individuals aspiring to specialize in psoriasis through immersive experiences in university hospitals, research centers, and clinical environments.
  • Provide comprehensive education in the mode of action and clinical management of psoriasis as a systemic disease, including comorbidities and emerging treatment strategies, tailored to the interests of both clinical and research fellows.
  • Inspire a sustained commitment to excellence in psoriasis care and research by cultivating the skills and global perspective necessary for lifelong learning and innovation in the field.

The project is led by the Fellowship Program Advisory Committee.

Project Description

Awarded fellows are matched with IPC Board Members or Councilors to observe and participate in clinical practice or research involving patients with psoriasis. Fellows gain hands-on experience in real-world settings, whether through investigating, diagnosing, and managing psoriasis in clinical practice, or participating in active research projects in the lab or clinic. In addition, the program fosters lasting professional relationships by engaging fellows in IPC activities and connecting them with global leaders in the field throughout the fellowship year.

Applications for the 2027 IPC Fellowship Program will be accepted from September 1 through 30, 2026

The 2026 IPC International Fellowship Program is supported in part by: Johnson & Johnson
