ADDRESSING KEY GAPS IN DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT, AND CARE FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

Project Description

The IPC Pediatric Psoriasis Working Group is dedicated to improving the care and understanding of psoriasis in children and adolescents by addressing key gaps in diagnosis, treatment, and management. Pediatric psoriasis presents unique challenges, as many current tools and guidelines are adult-focused and may not meet the needs of younger patients. The group seeks to enhance clinical tools for diagnosis, severity assessment, and treatment response tracking, promote equitable access to care, support research on disease burden and patient- or proxy-reported outcomes, and foster global collaboration among experts. Through these efforts, the group aims to advance evidence-based care, improve outcomes, and better address the distinct needs of children and adolescents living with psoriasis.
