Regional Masterclasses

AN INVITATION ONLY, COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM THAT IS CUSTOMIZED TO THE REGION’S UNIQUE NEEDS AND CHALLENGES

Program Description

The IPC Psoriasis Masterclass program is designed for early to mid-career dermatologists interested in improving their expertise in caring for psoriasis patients. The program is a robust 10-hour curriculum delivered by international and regional experts, allowing programs to be customized to the region’s unique needs and challenges. The comprehensive program covers a wide range of topics, including the pathogenesis of psoriasis, new and emerging therapies, comorbidities, and personalized care.

Participation

Masterclass participation is by invitation only. We work with IPC Councilors in each region to identify dermatologists who may benefit from this program, according to the following criteria:

  • An MD, diploma, 1st part MSc or higher degree in dermatology
  • Practicing dermatology within a governmental establishment, i.e., university hospital, public hospital, rural hospital, etc.
  • At least three years of dermatology practice
  • Dermatologists interested in psoriasis and who see at least two cases of psoriasis per week

Program Content

The Masterclass agendas are carefully developed to provide practical information in an intimate environment, designed to maximize faculty and participant interaction. Through lectures, panels, case-based discussions, and question and answer sessions, attendees obtain practical and important information for their dermatology practice.

While each program is customized to the particular region, there are common topics addressed during every Masterclass:

  • Challenging case presentations
  • Comorbidities
  • Clinical spectrum of psoriasis
  • New and emerging treatments
  • Optimizing the use of classical systemic agents
  • Pathophysiology
  • Personalized care
