This Masterclass is led by an esteemed faculty of international experts boasting extensive experience in psoriasis care. We aim to equip attendees with cutting-edge skills and knowledge to elevate their careers and become leaders in psoriasis.
IPC will provide travel stipends of $200 for local attendees and $500 for attendees traveling internationally.

Travel Scholarship
IPC is pleased to offer a travel scholarship to help offset accommodation and transportation costs. Attendees traveling from within Japan are eligible for a $200 scholarship. Please note that while the program is complimentary, participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and lodging.

Meals
An evening reception with hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be held on Thursday, October 8, at the Laguna Garden Hotel Okinawa. Refreshments during breaks and lunch will be provided on Friday, October 9.
IPC Councilor Helen Young provides commentary on a study identifying skin-derived myeloid precursors and CD200+ fibroblasts as key drivers of psoriatic disease spread from the skin to joints, highlighting the CD200–CD200R1 axis as a promising therapeutic target.

Depression affects approximately 20% of patients with psoriasis, five times the rate seen in the general population. IPC Jr. Councilor Mio Nakamura, MD, MS, FAAD, walks through the bidirectional relationship between psoriasis and depression, the shared inflammatory pathways driving both conditions, and practical guidance on screening and incorporating multidisciplinary mental health support into psoriasis management.
