Professor Xiao-Yong Manis is the head of Dermatology and Venereology at Zhejiang University and Director of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the Second Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He graduated from Zhejiang University and trained as a postdoctoral fellow at Montreal General Hospital, McGill University, Canada, from 2008 to 2010. He has board certification in Dermatology and Venereology. His main areas of clinical and research interest include dermatology, with a special focus on psoriasis, dermatology, and skin surgery. He is a board member of the Committee of the Chinese Society of Dermatology (CSD) within the Chinese Medicine Association (CMA), and a member of the Immunology Committee, CSD, CMA, and the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. He also serves as the associate director of the Zhejiang Dermatology Association Youth Committee. He has authored more than 80 publications in peer-reviewed, SCI-cited journals.
