Dr. Shekhar Neema is an associate professor of dermatology at Base Hospital and an affiliate of King George Medical University in Lucknow, India. He is an International Society of Dermatology (ISD) Fellow from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU Munich). Dr. Neema was also awarded the Dr. L. N. Sinha Memorial Award by the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADVL) in 2022. His research interests include comorbidities associated with psoriasis, and he has published papers related to psoriatic arthritis, liver disease, and cardiac comorbidities. Dr. Neema’s current research includes using magnetic resonance imaging to detect subclinical arthritis, psychological comorbidities, and drug compliance in psoriasis patients. Dr. Neema studied with IPC Councilor Elise Kleyn for his IPC Fellowship at the University of Manchester in Manchester, United Kingdom.
