IPC’s global network of experts generously volunteers their time every year to educate and train other physicians to better care for people with psoriasis. As we close another busy year, we want to recognize our top four Councilors who went above and beyond in 2024 to support our work. We are incredibly grateful for your donation of time and your dedication to the IPC.

Dra. Cristina Echeverría volunteered nearly 60 hours to IPC in 2024. She contributed significantly through her work across multiple IPC Working Groups and Committees, including the Disease Severity Working Group, Fellowship Program Advisory Committee, Latin America Working Group, and Symposia Committee. She co-chaired the IPC Symposium at SOLAPSO and served as faculty for the IPC & SOLAPSO Joint Symposium at RADLA and the 2024 Global Webinar Series.
Álvaro González-Cantero, MD, PhD

Dr. Álvaro González-Cantero generously volunteered 50 hours in 2024, making impactful contributions as a fellowship mentor and a member of the Disease Severity Working Group. He also played a pivotal role as faculty at IPC’s Psoriasis Masterclass for Latin America, IPC’s Symposium at AEDV, and IPC’s Symposium at AAD. His support has brought critical insights to IPC’s work this year.
Dra. Angela Londoño contributed over 60 hours of volunteer service in 2024. As an active member of the IPC Latin America Working Group and the IPC Skin of Color Working Group, she has played a key role in several initiatives. This year, Dr. Londoño chaired the IPC Latin America Virtual Psoriasis Masterclass, the IPC & SOLAPSO Joint Symposium at RADLA, and served as faculty at the IPC Symposium at the AAD Annual Meeting.

Dr. Tiago Torres participated in more IPC activities than any other volunteer in 2024, lending his expertise to 18 different activities. As chair of the IPC Symposium at ESDR and faculty for the 2024 Global Webinar Series, IPC Psoriasis Masterclass for Latin America, and IPC Symposium at AEDV, Dr. Torres has been instrumental in various educational and outreach efforts. He has also contributed to research and marketing initiatives throughout the year and is a member of IPC’s Editorial Committee.
