Dra. Cristina Echeverría is a medical doctor and Head of the Dermatology Section at Instituto de Rehabilitación Psicofísica (IREP) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She received a medical degree (Hon) from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Centro de Educación Médica e Investigaciones Clínicas (CEMIC) three years later. She earned a degree in Dermatology from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), where she currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Dermatology. Dra. Echeverría was a visiting doctor at Baylor University, Houston, Texas, United States. She has been a long-time supporter of the Sociedad Latinoamericana de Psoriasis (SOLAPSO), where she currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors, and is the Past President of Sociedad Argentina de Psoriasis (SOARPSO). She is the coordinator of the Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) Psoriasis Project Argentina and the ECHO Atopic Dermatitis Project Argentina. She also leads clinical research as a principal investigator in inflammatory and autoimmune skin diseases.
