Dr. Yuling Shi is a professor of dermatology, the Vice President of Shanghai Skin Disease Hospital at the Tongji University School of Medicine, and the founder and director of the Institute of Psoriasis at Tongji University School of Medicine, the first psoriasis institute in China. Dr. Shi has previously pursued postdoctoral training as a Fellow at the Henry Ford Hospital Immunology and Dermatology Research program. She is the General Secretary of the Chinese Dermatologist Association and the Vice President of the Committee on Psoriasis, Chinese Society of Dermatology. Dr. Shi has received numerous honors and titles, including the National High-Level Talent Program, National Model Worker for Women’s Achievements, Special Government Allowance from the State Council, and the National Woman Pacesetter. She has led several research initiatives and programs supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and other national organizations, including a State Key Program of the NSFC. Her work includes investigating the skin inflammatory microenvironment in psoriasis.

Additionally, Dr. Shi explored the appropriate use of systematic therapies for psoriasis in Asian populations. Over the past decade, she has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in renowned journals, most focusing on psoriasis, skin autoimmunity, and inflammatory skin diseases. Dr. Shi has made significant contributions to advancing the understanding of psoriasis pathogenesis and treatment strategies.
