Dr. Mohamed EL-Komy obtained his medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. He completed his residency and MD degree at the Kasr AL-Ainy hospitals of Cairo University where he now works as a Professor of Dermatology and faculty. Besides general dermatology, Dr. EL-Komy has worked with a special interest in psoriasis and nail disorders since 1996. He is the Team Director managing the psoriasis clinic at Kasr AL-Ainy hospitals, serving more than 4,000 registered psoriasis patients. He is involved in several psoriasis research and educational projects for both doctors and patients. Dr. El-Komy was appointed as an IPC Councilor in 2018.
