Dr. Anna López Ferrer is a Consultant Dermatologist in the Department of Dermatology at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona, Spain. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Barcelona and is an Associate Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Dr. López Ferrer is a member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AEDV) and currently coordinates the Spanish Psoriasis Group of the AEDV. Since 2012, she has led a collaborative clinic with the Department of Rheumatology focused on the integrated care of patients with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, with a particular interest in early diagnosis and treatment optimization.

She is actively engaged in national and international clinical research and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. Dr. López Ferrer is a member of the AEDV, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), and the Educational Committee of the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA). She also serves as a Councilor of the International Psoriasis Council (IPC) and as the National Coordinator for the Global Psoriasis Atlas (GPA).

I am directly involved with the most important psoriasis patient association, Acción Psoriasis, with whom I have worked closely for the last decade. I have been consulted as an expert for preparing positioning reports of biological drugs after approval by the regulatory bodies in the region where I work.
