Dr. Albert Duvetorp works as a dermatologist at the Department of Dermatology at the Skåne University Hospital in Malmö, Sweden. He is currently a post-doc in the Eidsmo group at the Leo Foundation Skin Immunology Research Group in Copenhagen and is the medical director of the Swedish Psoriasis Associations phototherapy unit in Malmö-Vellinge. He received his PhD in psoriasis in 2021 at the University of Linköping with research focusing on psoriasis disease biomarkers, psoriasis and depression, and psoriasis and comedication. He is a member of The Swedish Society for Dermatology and Venereology’s psoriasis group. Special areas of interest include the implementation of research findings in clinical practice, patient education/empowerment, and the holistic approach to psoriasis care (understanding the impact of the disease beyond the skin). Dr. Duvetorp studied with IPC Councilor Fernando Valenzuela at his clinic in Santiago, Chile. He became and IPC Councilor in March of 2024.
