Dr. Shawn Kwatra is an associate professor of dermatology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, United States, and director of the Johns Hopkins Itch Center. His areas of clinical expertise include chronic pruritus, prurigo nodularis, atopic dermatitis, and dermatology for ethnic skin. Dr. Kwatra is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and multiple other foundations. He has been an author or co-author on more than 200 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and is a member of the Skin of Color Society Board of Directors.
