Dr. Ralph Vighi da Rosa graduated and received his Internal Medicine Residency from Pelotas Federal University. He was also a Dermatology Resident at Santa Casa de Misericórdia Hospital Complex of Porto Alegre. Dr. da Rosa did his rotation month at Wake Forest School of Medicine, North Carolina, United States, under the medical supervision of Dr. Amy McMichael and Dr. Joseph Jorizzo. After that, he received a master’s degree in Health and Behavior from Pelotas Catholic University, where he is Chair Professor of Dermatology, head of an extension project of Patch Test in Allergy Contact Dermatitis, and co-leads the Academic Dermatology League, where he lectures, coordinates campaigns against skin cancer, and works as a Docent Supervisor in Preceptorship Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis events. Furthermore, Dr. da Rosa co-leads the Dermatology Outpatient Unit and co-founded the Severe Psoriasis and immune-mediated skin diseases ambulatory. In 2024, he became a staff member in the Dermatology Residency Program at Santa Casa de Misericórdia Hospital Complex of Porto Alegre, mentoring Dermatology medical residents. Dr. da Rosa regularly attends national and international dermatology events, such as the annual Brazilian Immunology and Immunotherapy Congress, the Leeds (United Kingdom) Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis Preceptorship and Porto (Portugal) Psoriasis and Hidradenitis Suppurativa Preceptorship. Moreover, Dr. da Rosa participates in the Brazilian Psoriasis Consensus (2024) authors group. His clinical and research interests include psoriasis and all associated comorbidities, other inflammatory immune-mediated skin diseases, and the impact of burden disease due to the lack of basic psoriasis knowledge from primary care physicians.

Dr. Vighi da Rosa studied with IPC Councilor Paolo Gisondi at the University of Verona in Verona, Italy.
