Dr. Paula Carolina Luna is a dermatologist and pediatric dermatologist at Hospital Alemán in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she also directs the fellowship in psoriasis and other inflammatory diseases. She serves as General Secretary of the Argentine Society of Psoriasis (SOARPSO) and the Pediatric Dermatology Society for Latin America (SDPL). After completing her dermatology residency and serving as chief resident, Dr. Luna pursued a three-year pediatric dermatology subspecialty at Hospital Ramos Mejía in Buenos Aires. Her clinical and research interests focus on inflammatory skin disorders, particularly psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, genodermatoses, and neonatal dermatology. Dr. Luna is a principal investigator in numerous clinical studies and has led educational programs and preceptorships on atopic dermatitis. She co-directs ECHO-Atopic Dermatitis Argentina, a telementoring initiative to improve care in underserved areas. In addition to her leadership roles, she serves on the Board of Assessors for ADAR (Argentina’s atopic dermatitis patient advocacy group). She is an Associate Member of the International Eczema Council (IEC) and contributes to the Education Committee. Through her multifaceted work, Dr. Luna is committed to improving the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with complex inflammatory skin diseases.
