Dr. Jennifer Lavina Ngo is a board-certified dermatologist with an MD–MBA specializing in psoriasis, inflammatory skin disease, and photodermatology, with a strong background in research. She serves as Assistant Specialty Center Head for Dermatology at Rizal Medical Center (RMC), a psoriasis center of excellence, where she strengthens clinical services, research, and training. She also maintains a private practice at The Medical City and mentors medical students and dermatology residents. Dr. Ngo completed fellowships in psoriasis clinical research at RMC and photodermatology at the National Skin Centre (Singapore). She is active in the Philippine Dermatological Society, including its Photodermatology and Advanced Medical Dermatology subspecialty core groups, and is an associate editor of its official publication. She contributes to international psoriasis research and education, and her work has been published locally and internationally. Driven by her interest in immunology and personalized medicine, Dr. Ngo integrates emerging evidence into practical, patient-centered care across advanced therapeutics, clinical trials, and real-world evidence. A dedicated healthcare advocate, she is passionate about building national frameworks for psoriasis care, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, and advancing equitable access to advanced systemic therapies, including biologics and JAK inhibitors, while supporting efforts to include them in the national formulary.
