Dr. Gang Wang is the Chair and Professor of the Department of Dermatology at Xijing Hospital, The Fourth Military Medical University. He obtained his MD and PhD degrees in Dermatology and Venerology in 1993 and 2000, respectively, from the Fourth Military University in Xi’an, China, and has been working for Xijing Hospital since 2002. Dr. Wang had post-doctoral training in the Department of Dermatology at Hokkaido University under the guidance of Dr. Hiroshi Shimizu. He worked as a visiting scholar in the Department of Dermatology & Cutaneous Biology at Thomas Jefferson University, United States. Dr. Wang is currently the President-elect of the Chinese Dermatologist Association, Chair of the Chinese Society for Investigative Dermatology, Vice President of the Chinese Society of Dermatology, and Vice President of the Asian Society for Psoriasis. He also serves as a co-editor for the European Journal of Dermatology (EJD) and a reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD), Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID), British Journal of Dermatology (BJD), Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (JEAD), Journal of Dermatological Science (JDS), and Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (JACI).
