Professor Christopher Baker is a Melbourne-based dermatologist with 30 years of experience in general dermatology. He serves as Director of the Department of Dermatology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, and leads the hospital’s dermatology research program. His clinical interests include advanced psoriasis therapies, photodermatology, phototherapy, skin cancer, and clinical trials. Professor Baker completed his medical and dermatology training in Australia and undertook postgraduate studies in photobiology at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. He has served as principal and co-investigator in numerous clinical trials and contributed to developing and implementing local treatment protocols. Professor Baker co-founded the Australasian Psoriasis Registry and has published over 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently the dermatology research lead at St Vincent’s Hospital.
