Dr. Alice Gottlieb is an internationally recognized physician-scientist and clinical trialist whose leadership has shaped the fields of dermatology, rheumatology, and immunology. Triple-board certified in dermatology, rheumatology, and internal medicine, Dr. Gottlieb is known for pioneering research in chronic inflammatory diseases, including psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and hidradenitis suppurativa.

Her seminal work demonstrated the efficacy of TNF blockers and IL-17 inhibitors in moderate to severe psoriasis, contributing to multiple FDA approvals and transforming standards of care. She has authored over 530 peer-reviewed publications and presented at more than 350 national and international meetings.

Dr. Gottlieb has held several leadership roles, including Chair of Dermatology at Tufts Medical Center, Founder of the Psoriasis Center of Excellence at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and Medical Director at Mount Sinai Union Square. She serves as Director of Clinical Trials at UT Southwestern, leading a growing research infrastructure supporting investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored studies.

In addition to her clinical and research impact, Dr. Gottlieb is a dedicated educator and mentor. She is the President and Founder of the International Dermatology Outcome Measures (IDEOM) group. She holds leadership roles with the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) and the International Psoriasis Council (IPC).
