Dr. Abir Saraswat received an undergraduate medical degree from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and an MD in dermatology and venereology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. He is currently the head of the department of dermatology at Midland Hospital and Research Center, Lucknow. Dr. Saraswat has published more than 75 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including more than 20 on psoriasis. He is a National Academy of Medical Sciences (India) member and has been involved in many clinical trials in psoriasis as a principal investigator.
