Dr. Robert Bissonnette graduated in Medicine from the University of Montreal. He completed his residency training in Dermatology at the University of Montreal and his basic and clinical research training at McGill University and the University of British Columbia. Dr. Bissonnette is Board-certified in Dermatology and was an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Montreal until 2004. He is chairman of Indero, formerly Innovaderm Research, a contract research organization (CRO) specializing in designing, conducting, and analyzing clinical trials in various areas of dermatology. He published over 270 articles and book chapters, many on psoriasis.  He has a special interest in palmoplantar psoriasis and pustulosis.
