Ingvar Agust Ingvarsson is the President of the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations (IFPA), a federation that brings together national psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis associations. Ingvar was diagnosed with psoriasis at 23, and he has carried the reality of the disease through the best moments of his life and through the hardest ones. This experience has shaped his belief that progress in psoriatic disease must always begin with the people who live with it.

Ingvar’s leadership is driven by a simple conviction: people living with psoriatic disease deserve influence, not just representation. His focus is on elevating patient priorities in science and health policy while building a stronger and more united global community.

Before becoming President in 2025, he held several elected roles within IFPA and is also the chairman of the Psoriasis and Eczema Association in Iceland. His professional background in consulting and strategy gives him a practical and structured approach to solving complex challenges.
