Doctor Marieke Seyger is an Associate Professor of Pediatric Dermatology in the Department of Dermatology, Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, The Netherlands. She gained her medical degree in 1995, received her PhD in 1999 and qualified as a dermatologist in 2002. Dr. Seyger has established the European Working group on Pediatric Psoriasis. She is Councilor with the International Psoriasis Council, Associate of the International Eczema Council, secretary of the Dutch Task Group on Pediatric Dermatology, and secretary of the Dutch Society for Experimental Dermatology. She participated in the Dutch guidelines for psoriasis and wrote the Dutch pediatric psoriasis guidelines. Dr. Seyger is an invited speaker at many international conferences. She serves as an author of the book chapter on the treatment of pediatric psoriasis in the next edition of Harper’s Textbook of Pediatric Dermatology and has authored and co-authored over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
