Dr. Yi Zhao is a dermatologist and professor at Tsinghua Changgung Hospital, Tsinghua University, where he serves as the founding Chair of the Department of Dermatology and Head of the Scientific Research Department. He is also the Director of the Photomedicine Laboratory. He earned his medical degree from Peking University and has clinical expertise in psoriasis, xanthoma disseminatum, photodynamic therapy, and laser treatments. His research focuses on inflammatory skin diseases, supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and contributed to dermatology textbooks. Dr. Zhao participates in academic societies and editorial boards, aiming to advance dermatological care through clinical work and education. His major academic employment includes Director of Asian Society for Psoriasis, Secretary-General, Intelligent Medicine Committee, Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Secretary-General, Laser Cosmetic Committee, Chinese Association of Plastics and Aesthetics, and editor for Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID), Intelligent Medicine, and Journal of Cell Communication and Signaling.
