Professor Wolf-Henning Boehncke is chair of the division of dermatology and venereology at Geneva University Hospitals, Switzerland, and full professor at the Department of Pathology and Immunology at Geneva University. He is past president of GRAPPA and president elect of SPIN. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles, multiple book chapters, and several books on psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. His research focuses on the immuno-pathogenesis of chronic inflammation in the skin.

Areas of Interest

Prof. Boehncke’s research focusses on the immuno-pathogenesis of chrnic inflamation in the skin. He is particularly interested in the role of IL-17 isoforms in cutaneous biology and the role of mechanotransduction in inflammation. Besides, he is investigator in numerous clinical trials in the field of psoriasis.
