Dr. Wei Li is a chief physician in the Department of Dermatology at West China Hospital, Sichuan University. She specializes in diagnosing and treating autoimmune blistering diseases, psoriasis, and psoriatic arthritis. She established the diagnostic system for blistering diseases at West China Hospital and launched the hospital’s multidisciplinary clinic for psoriasis.

Dr. Li is one of the earliest physicians in China to practice biologic therapies for psoriasis. She is committed to the early detection of psoriatic arthritis in psoriasis patients using tools such as self-developed screening questionnaires and high-frequency joint ultrasound. She holds multiple academic roles, including member of the Psoriasis Group of the Chinese Society of Dermatology, co-chair of the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) Dermatologist Membership Engagement Committee, and head of the Psoriasis Group of Sichuan Province in China. Dr. Li is involved in medical education through national and international academic exchanges and collaborations.
