Dr. Shir Azrielant is a consultant dermatologist and Director of Dermatology Inpatient Services at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, and a Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. She completed her dermatology training at Tel Aviv Medical Center and holds an MD and dual bachelor’s degrees in psychology and Neurobiology with honors from Tel Aviv University. Her clinical and translational research focuses on inflammatory and autoimmune skin diseases, with a particular emphasis on psoriasis. Dr. Azrielant has trained and collaborated internationally at King’s College London’s St John’s Institute of Dermatology and contributed to the Global Psoriasis Atlas (GPA) SKINSCAPE study. Her current work centers on psoriasis comorbidities, metabolic pathways in disease, and histology as a biomarker of inflammatory skin disorders. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and is a recipient of the Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowship and the Israeli Society for Dermatology and Venereology Research Scholarship.

Dr. Azrielant will study with IPC Honorary Founder Christopher Griffiths and IPC Councilor Darren Ashcroft at the Global Psoriasis Atlas (GPA) in Manchester, United Kingdom.
