Professor Ricardo Romiti is responsible for the Psoriasis Clinic at the Department of Dermatology, University of São Paulo, Brazil. He also works as a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of São Paulo. Having gained his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo, where he also completed his residency in the Department of Dermatology, Professor Romiti undertook a two-year Fellowship at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich, Germany. He has authored or co-authored numerous papers published in national and international dermatology journals and is a reviewer for various international dermatology journals.

Professor Romiti currently serves on the Board of the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) and is an active member of several ILDS committees, including the World Health Organization (WHO) Committee, the Education Committee, and the International Foundation for Dermatology (IFD) Committee. He is also a Councilor of the International Psoriasis Council (IPC), the Latin American Society of Psoriasis (SOLAPSO), and the Brazilian Society of Dermatology (SBD).

He previously served on the IPC Board of Directors from 2015 to 2023.
