She holds a master’s degree in business economics from the Faculty of Business and Economics at KU Leuven. Currently affiliated with the Department of Operations Management, Joke researches the application of optimization techniques in various healthcare settings, aiming to enhance clinical processes and patient experiences. She is particularly interested in the Value-Based Healthcare framework and explores methods for measuring individual patient value to maximize overall value creation.
