Dr. Zenas Yiu is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Dermatology and Pharmacoepidemiology at the University of Manchester and a Consultant Dermatologist with the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, United Kingdom. He holds an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a PhD from the University of Manchester.

He has a strong clinical and research focus on psoriasis and leads a dermato-pharmacoepidemiology group studying the safety and effectiveness of treatments for psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases. Dr. Yiu is a guideline panel member for the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) biologics guideline for psoriasis and chairs the BAD methotrexate guideline group.

His work emphasizes applying causal inference and evidence-based methods to dermatology. Dedicated to mentoring the next generation of clinical academics, he serves as Academic Program Lead for Dermatology in Manchester. He also contributes to national health policy as a NICE Technology Appraisal Committee member, evaluating new health technologies.

Dr. Yiu serves on the Technology Appraisal Committee for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), where he evaluates health technologies. He is also a member of the BAD Research Subcommittee and the BADBIR Steering Committee, and works closely with the Psoriasis Association UK and the National Eczema Society.
