Heather began her nonprofit career as Communications and Development Coordinator at Cancer Services of Midland, advancing community outreach and fundraising efforts to expand access to local cancer resources. She later joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Great Lakes Bay Region, overseeing marketing, volunteer recruitment, and partnership initiatives – work that inspired her to continue volunteering as a Big Sister herself following her departure. She then joined the Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority, supporting fundraising, communications, and stakeholder engagement. Across all roles, Heather has focused on building authentic relationships that strengthen mission-driven organizations and foster meaningful community connections.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance from Central Michigan University, a foundation that continues to shape her creative perspective and interpersonal approach. In her spare time, she remains involved in the performing arts. Heather joined the International Psoriasis Council in 2025 as Corporate Relations & Membership Coordinator and currently resides in Midland, Michigan.
