Dr. Dharshini Sathishkumar is a Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Christian Medical College, a tertiary care teaching hospital in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, South India. She completed her postgraduation from the same center and did a one-year clinical fellowship at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, United Kingdom. She has participated in national and international conferences, CMEs, and workshops. Dr. Sathishkumar has researched psoriasis, and considering her background training in Pediatric Dermatology, her focus of interest is childhood psoriasis. She has participated in the special interest group psoriasis under the National Dermatology Society (IADVL). She has also participated in psoriatic arthritis workshops explaining the skin involvement conducted by the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) society. She is a postgraduate teacher guiding PG thesis and the course coordinator for the Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship program. She is currently heading one of the Dermatology Units in the institution and has also organized various CMEs.
