Dr. Yves Poulin, FRCPC, is the president and founder of the Centre of Research in Dermatology, Quebec. After completing his medical training (MD, LMCC) at the Universite de Sherbrooke in 1978, which included qualifications to practice medicine in the United States (NBME), Dr. Poulin worked to obtain his title of dermatology specialist from the Universite de Montreal in 1983 by completing his specialty exams for Quebec (CSPQ), Canada (FRCPC), and the United States (FAAD). He also pursued additional specialist training in Washington (AFIP) and Rochester, Minnesota (Mayo Clinic). In 1993, Dr. Poulin began his work with clinical trials. Today he is the president of the Centre of Research in Dermatology, Quebec, and the Centre Dermatologique du Quebec Metropolitain. He is also an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the Hotel-Dieu de Quebec (a hospital affiliated with Universite Laval), where he is an active member.
