Dr. Robert Chalmers is an honorary consultant dermatologist in Manchester, United Kingdom. In 1994, he and Professor Christopher Griffiths set up the first Psoriasis Specialty Service in the United Kingdom, for which he continued to work until his retirement from NHS practice in 2013. Dr. Chalmers has particular interests in methotrexate, evidence-based dermatology, and psoriasis assessment. He is also Co-Chair of the Dermatology Topic Advisory Group overseeing the 11th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases.
