Dra. Nancy Podoswa is an attending physician in the Dermatology Department of the Hospital General Regional No. 1 Dr. Carlos MacGregor Sanchez Navarro, Mexican Institute of Social Security, in Mexico City, where she also maintains a private practice. She is a Professor of Dermatology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City. She attended the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México School of Medicine and completed residencies in internal medicine at the Hospital General de Zona No. 1 Gabriel Mancera, in dermatology at the Hospital de Especialidades Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI, and in dermatopathology at the Hospital General de México. Dr. Podoswa has authored numerous papers and made several national and international psoriasis-related presentations. She was named best dermatologist by the Carlos MacGregor Sanchez Navarro regional hospital in 1991. She is a member of the Mexican Society of Dermatology, a founding member of the Latin American Society of Psoriasis (SOLAPSO), and a founding member of PSOMEX, the Mexican Group for the Study of Psoriasis.
