CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our global nonprofit organization, the International Psoriasis Council, led by passionate dermatologists and researchers committed to improving the lives of those with psoriasis around the globe. The Corporate Partnerships and Development Manager plays a pivotal role in fundraising efforts by collaborating closely with the CEO on various tasks such as preparing and submitting funding requests, tracking requests, processing contracts, and ensuring timely payments. Additionally, the manager oversees corporate funder participation in IPC events, coordinates meetings with IPC staff and the Board of Directors, and maintains contact information and meeting notes in the contact management system. They also track and coordinate corporate member benefits, stay informed about corporate member activities, and draft communications for corporate members on behalf of the CEO. Additionally, this position will collaborate with the CEO to create new funding opportunities to support the organization. JOB TYPE

This is a full-time, non-exempt, and permanent remote position with flexible working hours.

BENEFITS

The International Psoriasis Council offers a generous benefits package, including a 401(k) with employer contribution, a health care stipend, disability, life insurance, phone and internet reimbursement, and paid time off beginning with three weeks.

SALARY RANGE

$55,000 – $65,000 annually

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising

  • Work with the CEO on all elements of fundraising, including submitting funding requests via email or online portals, tracking requests, processing contracts, following up on outstanding payments, preparing acknowledgment letters, and completing financial reconciliations.
  • Research corporate online grant opportunities, matching requirements to IPC programs and activities.
  • Keep abreast of the current field related to fundraising opportunities and prepare and submit funding proposals. 
  • Support the CEO in developing new funding opportunities to support the organization.

Meetings Management

  • Coordinate corporate member participation in various IPC events such as corporate breakfasts, receptions, the annual meeting, and meetings with the IPC Board of Directors.
  • Schedule and prepare materials for virtual and in-person meetings with the IPC staff and the IPC Board of Directors.
  • Respond to routine questions from corporate members, such as meeting logistics.
  • Participate in meetings (in-person and virtually), prepare notes, and coordinate follow-up items.

Contact Management

  • Maintain contact information and meeting notes in the contact management system (tracking who’s who).
  • Track and coordinate corporate member benefits.
  • Research and keep abreast of corporate member and prospect products and activities, including approved products and those in the pipeline; keep CMS updated with current information. 
  • Design and draft communication proactively and responsively for corporate members on behalf of the CEO.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & SKILLS

  • A bachelor’s degree and 3- 5 years of relevant experience in health-related nonprofit fundraising, marketing, or a related field are preferred.
  • Experience in corporate donor relations within a nonprofit setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), preferably on a MAC.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including proofreading and editing.
  • Professional demeanor with diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.
  • Effective communication across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Quick learner with anticipatory skills.
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability to evolving job duties.
  • Experience in a globally oriented business is advantageous.

ADA AND OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

  • This position is permanently remote, requiring extremely reliable internet and phone access.
  • Willingness to travel 1 – 2 times yearly, including potential international travel.
  • May occasionally lift to 40 lbs. (i.e., event materials)
