Dr. Ryan is Vice Chair of Dermatology at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas and Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology for the Texas A+M Health Science Center. Dr. Ryan was born in Dublin, Ireland, and completed her medical degree in University College Dublin. She has published 40 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, including articles in JAMA and The Lancet, is the primary author of four book chapters, and a chapter on the genetics of psoriasis in Brenner's Encyclopedia of Genetics. She is an editorial board member for the National Psoriasis Foundation and serves on the International Affairs Committee of the Women's Dermatological Society. The majority of her research to date has focused on the immunobiology of psoriasis and the pharmacogenomics of psoriasis therapy and she has presented the findings of her research at numerous national and international medical conferences. She is a principal investigator for clinical trials and basic scientific research studies conducted at the Menter Dermatology Research Institute and the Baylor Institute of Immunology Research.

Jashin J. Wu, MD

Dr. Wu is Founder and Course Director of the San Diego Dermatology Symposium and Founder and CEO of the Dermatology Research and Education Foundation in Irvine, CA. In his 15 years of clinical practice, he has treated over 1500 psoriasis patients, of which over 1000 received an oral agent, biologic, or phototherapy. He is a Councilor for the International Psoriasis Council and serves on both the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) and the American Academy of Dermatology/NPF psoriasis guidelines committee, which will publish 6 updated psoriasis guidelines in 2019 in the JAAD. He is associate editor for the upcoming 4th edition of Wolverton’s Comprehensive Dermatologic Drug Therapy. He has written over 270 Pubmed articles, of which over 170 are about psoriasis. Dr. Wu has given over 100 psoriasis lectures at medical conferences in 9 countries.
